There are quite a few options depending on the planter.

Basic: Cedar picket build with no staining (least expensive)

Stained: Cedar picket build with cedar semi transparent staining (less expensive) (indicate whether planter will be indoors or outdoors)

Painted: Cedar picket build with mineral paint (water based) then sealed for indoor or outdoor use (more expensive)

All builds use Titebond 3 wood glue and brad nails for a durable connection.

Outdoor finishes are polyurethanes with UV protections and are oil based.

Indoor finish is Tung Oil that is all natural and food safe when cured.
