This is mom

My mother has always been the one to give her time and money to causes greater than herself. From mentoring latino heritage kids throughout their entire lives or helping others get a leg up, she has never quit her desire to come to someone’s aid.

Coming from a poor class family in Cuba, my grandfather decided to come to America to work. Interesting enough, my grandfather was a builder and handyman. I like to think I am following in his footsteps. My mom was a numbers person, and started working right out of high school for the phone company. She moved up the ladder every chance she got because she was so helpful to every person she worked with. She definitely did it the right way.

It is time to take what she has modeled and let other’s know what an incredible inspiration she has become to everyone she encounters.
